AGAPE MOTHERS UNITED COVID-19 RESPONSE

This program allows us to support women and their families in Mexico, The Dominican Republic and Colombia by providing them with food security and the instruction and materials needed to make masks for their entire family. Families in these countries make as little 2 dollars a day and what they make each day is what they MUST use to feed their families. With the pandemic in full force, and a lack of social support programs, mothers are finding themselves with a terrible choice, go out each day and risk bringing the virus home or watch their families go hungry.

Donation Center

Your donations this year will support the food program as well as our Stay Home this Christmas Program that will allow us to give a child a Christmas present, Hanukkah gift as well reaching out to our Muslim participants for their end of Ramadan celebrations.

Volunteers

Your donation will allow each family to receive dried foods (rice, beans, flour, sugar, masa, salt, and canned goods) to help them stay home for 2 weeks during the holiday season. We are in this together, and together we can make a difference.

Agape Women online Education program

This program was created by women for women. The input of single mothers in minority communities such as LatinX in the USA, Black Americans and Native American women as well as from Mexico, Colombia and The Dominican Republic came together to create a learning program for women who often fall through the cracks of state/federal programs as well not for profits who have failed to understand that systemic and institutionalized racism is present in the not for profit sector.

This program works to close those gaps in services and empower women in marginalized communities with the opportunity to receive online education and achieve professional certification and/or bachelor degrees in fields that are relevant to today's economic development in and outside the USA.

There is assistance in the case that a woman does not have access to a computer and/or internet access.
